But that was about it: there were no appointments, no committee, and no lustration laws. Despite the fact that lustration was Maidan’s main demand. Yet, Yehor is not the one to surrender. He’s fighting and he’s winning.
This is a film about an inner strength of a person who moved all the way from a human rights advocate to Euromaidan superintendent, from a journalist to a member of Parliament, from the corrupt government fighter to a statesman.

Civic activists who first entered the territory of "Mezhyhirya" started to get these papers out of the water and collect what went shredder. Journalist Denis Bigus gathered the White Collar Hundred - volunteers, who restored and streamlined documents.
Previously, Hottabych had worked as a steel worker and financial director. After events on Maidan, he has gone as a volunteer to ATO zone (anti-terrorist operation zone) with the 1st National Guard Battalion.
In the East and the South, of Ukraine many people do not speak Ukrainian. Activists organize free courses for everyone who wants to learn, bring book fairs and music bands to cities and towns, organize meetings with writers.
Since its first days, Euromaidan was guarded by Self-Defence, the volunteers who took turns to maintain order and security. Today, most of them serve in the National Guard of Ukraine, and the rest have created self-defence crews in cities and towns all over Ukraine to maintain public order.
Five months a participant of the Maidan self-defense in Kyiv, two months in the National Guard, later the rotation – such was 2014 for Myroslav Hay.
On the first day of Russian occupation of the peninsula, activists Tamila Tasheva, Sevgil Musaeva and Alim Aliyev created the Facebook page Crimea SOS to provide up-to- date, reliable information about the situation in Crimea. Later, they started to help the internally displaced people not only from Crimea but also from Donbas, where armed conflict is going on.
The next day after the students on Euromaidan were beaten up, the activists of the Centre for Civil Liberties opened a hotline for the victims and the volunteer lawyers thus providing the protesters with legal services and defence with court.
After president Yanukovych fled the country, Serhiy Khadzhynov, one of the founders of Automaidan, directed the activities of the organised social movement to fighting corruption and reforming the law enforcement agencies, the prosecutor’s office and the police.
