A classic conflict between Paraska and Palazhka, whom we read about during Ukrainian literature classes, unfolds on the screen. Grandma Paraska faints when she learns how big her neighbour’s pension is. She is taken to intensive care and diagnosed with severe jealousy. She needs money for treatment, but not everyone in her family is prepared to help.
