Can documentary film be a driving force for democratic processes? How can cameras stand up for democratic values and resist populism? Ahead of the online release of Your Life Without Me, the film selected by the student jury as the winner of the 22nd Docudays UA, film scholar and cultural manager Darya Levchenko will speak with director Anna Rubi about the nature and power of documentary cinema as well as about how attentiveness and empathy are becoming integral to participatory democracy and the fight for equal rights.
