The filmmaker Chloé Galibert-Laîné analyses the film Watching the Detectives by Chris Kennedy. The film shows amateur detectives on Reddit investigating the 2013 terrorist attack on the Boston Marathon. Through associations and philosophical deliberations, the author transforms her own film into a performative investigation of the history of critical thinking, and the politics of the emergence of truth in a contemporary world obsessed by the constant search for it.
