How do you present your work at the world’s extended reality festivals? And how do festivals exhibiting XR (Extended Reality) projects work? How do they showcase artworks with augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR)? In his lecture, Ulrich Schrauth will talk about his own artistic and curatorial background, his work as a programmer for XR festivals, and his experience in creating a VR festival, as well as about new trends in immersive technology and the current festival landscape

His posts include artistic director for VRHAM! Festival Virtual Reality & Arts Hamburg  as well as XR and immersive programmer for the BFI London Film Festival. In addition to that, he oversees many international projects with virtual, augmented and mixed reality, and acts as a speaker, moderator and jury member in this field.

VR DOC LAB event

This is a series of thematic lectures by leading European specialists who will consider the stages of producing a VR film, step by step from script development to distribution. The lectures will form part of the festival’s DOCU/PRO Industry Programme, in collaboration with the Academy of Visual Arts, Kharkiv.
