The bravery of Ukrainians in the fight for their freedom has become a symbol of resilience for the entire world. During the full-scale war, we have experienced many tragic events. But there were also events which inspired us and became symbols of heroism, raising our morale. The daring Ghost of Kyiv, the sinking of the battleship Moscow by the Ukrainian army, the cupboard with a porcelain rooster in Borodyanka, the memes and songs which became popular among the people… What is the magic of these symbols? How is the new Ukrainian history being written? In this conversation, we are finding out how Ukrainians manage to joke in these trying times and how it affects social processes. We are also discussing the phenomenon of this mental resilience.
