Nazar and Maksym spend all their time in a small garage in the Svyatoshyn neighborhood of Kyiv. The guys were fired by a passion to create the fastest IZH-49 motorcycle in the world, so they can ride it along the bottom of the dried-out salt lake of Bonneville, Utah. They cross hundreds of miles and difficulties on their path to the main location where speed records are set, where thousands of people come to choose the new champion. There, on the other side of the world, the guys realise who they are and why they are here.

Each of the five films in the DOCU/UKRAINE competition programme becomes available for watching after an online live stream of a Tête-à-tête with the film’s director.
