An elderly man is taking care of his paralysed wife, doing everything in his power to ease her suffering. He is helped by their daughter, who tries to balance her life between her hospital job and caring for her family. The father and daughter have different views on the correct care for ill people, which often leads to arguments. But the bedridden woman cannot even muster the strength to talk to her family. The only thing she wants is to shout, “I’m here!”
